Move underlines Datapred’s commitment to addressing sustainable procurement challenges.
PARIS – February 19, 2021 – Datapred, the smart control tower for raw material buyers, today announced that its Paris office will soon move to Maison RaiseLab, a new Open Innovation campus designed to spur collaboration between startups, scaleups, mid-sized companies and multinationals.
We are delighted to move to this exciting new place and benefit from the increased proximity with French industrial leaders,” said Nicolas Mahler, Director of Datapred. “We have been working with RAISE for three years now. The RAISE team have been invaluable growth partners, providing advice and opening doors. It is great to be part of the Maison RaiseLab adventure.”
Maison RaiseLab especially focuses on fostering multinational-startup collaborations addressing green supply chain challenges. Datapred, which is already helping clients optimize over €1.5 billion in energy and raw material spend across multiple categories (including metals, chemicals and power), is increasingly adding sustainable development objectives to the operational factors it helps buyers consider when making their purchasing decisions.
Paul Jeannest, co-founder and CEO of RaiseLab, commented:
We want to be the leading facilitator for 'David and Goliath' collaborations between large industrial groups and startups, with an ecosystem based on open innovation and a result-oriented culture. Datapred is already working with some of our industrial partners.”
Founded in 2015, Datapred is a smart control tower for raw material buyers. Datapred processes hundreds of data streams and uses AI to provide 360 visibility to procurement professionals: on price dynamics, their own buying performance, and the interplay between procurement and operations.
Created in 2019 by Schoolab and RAISE, RaiseLab is the first French player exclusively dedicated to Open Innovation. RaiseLab’s mission is to maximize the effectiveness of business collaborations among companies of all sizes, supporting synergies and enabling the creation of economic and societal value. RaiseLab is structured around two activities: a consultancy practice providing strategic and operational support, and Maison RaiseLab, a physical innovation campus located at 18 rue de la Fontaine au Roi in the 11th arrondissement of Paris.
